Description:
The device is used to repeat the signal from the Hotdrop or other LoRa devices to send back to our Tether platform.
Installation:
When you open the box, you will see a white RAK gateway, one antenna, and one power cord
Let's open the mobile app or Web Platform
First, let's click the property we wish to install the sensors in. You will notice a screen that pops-ups encouraging you to connect a device.
You will need a mobile running the app to install your sensors. Let's start with the Gateway in an inside Area .
Next, take the antenna from the box and screw it onto the back right off the Gateway.
Next, let's plug in the power cord to a wall outlet. This will power on the gateway, initially you will see a light sequence flashing. Wait for this to turn blue before proceeding.
Each of your Gateways will be 4G enabled. So no need to worry about an Ethernet connection.
