Installation
The Flexsense is designed to measure outdoor Temperature & Humidity. In saying this, it will also function as expected measuring indoor Temperature and Humidity.
Before we begin, let's ensure we have all the necessary components:
- Temperature/Humidity probe (provided)
- Flexsense device (provided)
- Phillips #1 Screwdriver
- Screws (provided)
Firstly, download the Tether App by scanning the QR code.
When you receive your Flexsense device it will already be turned on.
Remove the rubber bung
Unpack the Temperature & Humidity Probe
Connect the Probe via the Ethernet port that you've made available by removing the rubber bung. Make sure the seal is in tight to ensure waterproofing capabilities.
***Please ensure this is put into th left handside ethernet port in the device. Not the Right. By connecting thte probe to the Left port the device will turn itself on.***
Scan the QR code on the back, and follow the instructions in the app for connecting the device with the Tether Platform.
Attach the device to the wall
Attach the probe to an external point of the building.
And there you have it, your Flexsense device is now successfully installed.
